Pool Safty

No running Do not fool around or run by the pool area in case you slip on the side.
Check depth Always check how deep the water is so you do not get out of your depth.
No bombing Jumping in like this can be dangerous as you could land on someone and hurt them.
No pushing Do not push anyone in - they may not know how to swim and it can put other swimmers in danger.
Check for lifeguards Make sure you are aware exactly where the lifeguard is in case anyone gets into trouble.
Listen to lifeguards They are trained to save lives so always do what they say.
Emergency equipment Make sure you know where the lifesaving equipment and exit doors are in case of emergency.
No eating Do not swim for at least an hour after eating - this can lead to muscle cramp.
No glass bottles No glass bottles around the pool - they could break and cause injuries.
Check when diving Only dive in designated areas which will be clearly marked around the poolside.
Read warning signs Take notice of all signs around the pool - and stick to the rules
No dunking Putting people's heads underwater is dangerous and can lead to drowning
